1. Who we are

This site (vaydenstudio.com) is operated by Vayden Studio, a two-person web design and build studio founded by Daniel Molnár and Maxim Herbacsko, based in Slovakia and Hungary. For the purposes of data protection law, we are the "data controller" of the personal data described in this policy.

Vayden Studio is not yet incorporated as a formal legal entity (registration in progress). Once our registered business name and address are issued, we will publish them here. Until then, contact us directly at the email below for any controller-identification requests.

2. What data we collect

We keep this deliberately small. We don't run a lead-capture form, a newsletter signup, or any tracking pixels on this site. The only personal data we collect is what you choose to give us:

SourceWhat's collected
Booking an intro call (Cal.com widget on the "Start a project" page)Name, email address, time zone, and any notes you add about your project
Emailing us directly (contact@vaydenstudio.com)Your name, email address, and whatever you write to us, including attachments
Visiting the site (standard hosting logs)IP address, browser/device type, pages visited, timestamps — collected automatically by our hosting provider for security and reliability, not by us directly

3. Why we collect it

We use this data only to:

We do not sell your data, rent it, or use it for advertising. We do not build ad-tracking or marketing profiles.

4. Tools and third parties we use

We rely on a small number of reputable providers to run this site and our booking flow. Each processes a limited slice of your data under their own privacy policy:

ProviderRole
Cal.com, Inc.Powers our call-booking widget. Handles the name, email, and scheduling details you submit when booking.
Vercel Inc.Hosts this website and processes standard server/request logs.
Google (Google Workspace)Hosts our business email (contact@vaydenstudio.com), so email correspondence passes through Google's infrastructure.

We choose providers that are GDPR-aware and publish their own privacy commitments. We don't control their systems directly — see their policies for details on how each of them processes data.

5. Cookies

This site does not set analytics or advertising cookies. The Cal.com booking widget, embedded when you visit our booking page, may set its own functional cookies to run the calendar — these are set by Cal.com, not by us. If we ever add analytics in the future, we'll update this section and add a cookie notice before doing so.

6. How long we keep data

Enquiry and booking data is kept for as long as it's useful to the conversation or project, and deleted once it isn't — typically within 12 months of last contact, unless a project or contract is active. If we become a client relationship, we keep the records needed for that contract and any legal/tax retention period that applies (invoices, correspondence tied to a paid engagement).

7. International data transfers

Cal.com, Vercel, and Google are US-headquartered companies. Where your data is processed outside the EU/EEA, these providers rely on recognized transfer mechanisms (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) to keep it protected to EU standards. We don't independently transfer your data anywhere ourselves beyond using these providers.

8. Your rights

If you're in the EU/EEA (which, as a Slovak/Hungarian studio, is our default assumption for most visitors), you have the right to:

To exercise any of these, just email us — see Contact us below. We'll respond within a reasonable time frame, typically within 30 days.

9. Children

This site is a business-to-business studio site. It's not directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

10. Changes to this policy

If what we collect or how we use it changes — for example, if we add analytics or a new tool — we'll update this page and the "last updated" date above.

11. Contact us
